THE TASK

• We were tasked with the creation of a show stopping display that would become a talking point and photo opportunity for the front entrance to the Liffey Valley Shopping Centre.

• This design needed to stand out in the garden area of their front entrance, and also be seasonal for both a winter and spring summer display.

• We took inspiration from intricate cut paper lanterns, to create a beautiful display that looked good both day and night.

THE EXPERIENCE

For the front entrance of Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, we were tasked with crafting a show-stopping display that would not only serve as a captivating photo opportunity but also become a central talking point for visitors. Situated in the garden area, the design needed to make a bold statement while seamlessly transitioning through the seasons, from the cozy ambiance of winter to the vibrant energy of spring and summer. Drawing inspiration from the delicate art of cut paper lanterns, we created a stunning installation that captivated attention both day and night. The intricate details and thoughtfully designed elements ensured that the display radiated beauty and charm, becoming a timeless feature that enhanced the overall entrance experience throughout the year.

THE OUTCOME

A large scale intricate cut CNC letter display spelling Liffey Valley, that looks beautiful in the day and lights up at night time.

• 42 x meters of gold finished CNC cut panels

• 420 x pieces of frosted branches for display
