THE TASK

• We were tasked with creating an interactive art instillation that would live in the offices of Meta. With this instillation we had the intention of creating a gratitude tree, a place where employees could stop and reflect on something they were grateful for, writing it down and placing it on the tree.

• The purpose of the instillation was to help the Meta employees practice mindfulness, and taking a moment to appreciate just one thing they are grateful for that day.

• Regularly acknowledging and appreciating what you have can reduce stress, anxiety, and depression. It shifts focus from what's lacking to what's positive in your life, promoting a more optimistic outlook.

THE EXPERIENCE

For Meta’s office space, we designed and installed an interactive art piece known as the Gratitude Tree, aimed at fostering mindfulness and reflection among employees. This innovative installation invites staff to pause and contemplate their daily blessings by writing down something they are grateful for and attaching it to the tree. The Gratitude Tree serves as a visual representation of positive reflections, helping to shift focus from daily stresses and challenges to moments of appreciation. By encouraging employees to regularly acknowledge and cherish the positives in their lives, the installation contributes to reducing stress, anxiety, and depression, while promoting a more optimistic and resilient outlook. This thoughtful addition not only enhances the office environment but also supports the well-being of everyone who interacts with it.

THE OUTCOME

A large scale intricate cut CNC tree instillation piece, to create a conversation and engagement around moments of gratitude.
