• We transformed a barge on the canal into a floating wild flower garden to capture attention both in person an online about the importance of planting wild flowers for the bee populations.

• We engaged with people passing by to talk about the environment, bee populations and hand our free wild flower bombs for people to plant in their gardens or parks.

THE EXPERIENCE

We transformed a barge on the canal into a captivating floating wildflower garden, designed to draw attention both in person and online to the critical importance of planting wildflowers for bee populations. The barge, adorned with a vibrant array of blooming flowers, became a striking visual centerpiece that naturally drew curious onlookers. We engaged with passersby, sparking conversations about environmental conservation and the vital role of bees in our ecosystem. To encourage active participation, we handed out free wildflower seed bombs, inviting people to plant them in their own gardens or local parks. This initiative not only raised awareness but also empowered the community to take tangible steps in supporting bee populations and promoting biodiversity.
